Job summary

New Day Dentistry in Colorado is seeking an experienced dental assistant or EDDA to support dentists and hygienists in a busy practice. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of practice, a current CDA/RDA license, and excellent customer service, organization, and communication.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of dental assisting experience.
• Current CDA/RDA license and CPR certification required.
• Familiar with dental radiographs and bitewing imaging.

Responsibilities

• Seat and prepare patients for care.
• Prepare operatory, equipment and instruments.
• Take vital signs and update medical history as needed.
• Explain treatments and obtain consent forms.
• Assist dentist and hygienists during examinations and procedures.
• Maintain sterilization, infection control and equipment.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments and patient care instructions.
