Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team in Louisville, KY. The role involves chairside support during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, and prosthetic care, with emphasis on patient comfort and accurate documentation.

You will prepare operatories, assist with impressions and wax bites, and maintain strict infection control while collaborating with dentists and in-house lab staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (where required by state).
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding patient care and welcoming experience from check-in to treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials for appointments.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with denture impressions and wax bites under dentist direction.
• Maintain infection prevention and sterilization standards.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering clinical supplies.
• Travel occasionally for training and continuing education.
