Job summary

Willamette Dental in Corvallis is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist, hygienist, and denturist in delivering high-quality dental care. You will prepare instruments, assist in four-handed dentistry, take radiographs, and ensure sterilization and safety protocols.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Oregon radiography proficiency, and EFDA within 180 days of hire; ADA-accredited program is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Counsel patients on post-operative care and oral health.
• Demonstrate an understanding of evidence-based dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment and materials for dental procedures.
• Work under supervision of a dentist performing four-handed dentistry.
• Take and develop dental radiographs.
• Take impressions for study casts.
• Maintain sterilization area and PPE compliance.
• Travel to other WD locations as needed.
