Job summary

Willamette Dental in Medford, OR is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist, hygienist and other providers, focusing on patient comfort while delivering quality care in accordance with state laws.

The role involves preparing instruments, four-handed dentistry, taking radiographs, medical history checks, impressions, sterilization, and adherence to PPE policies. Travel to other WD locations may be required; full-time schedule is 4-10 & 3-10 shifts, with pay range $23-$36 per hour.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or GED and credentials to function as a Dental Assistant per state requirements.
• ADA accredited program and/or EFDA preferred.
• Oregon radiology certification and Basic Life Support required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment and materials for dental procedures.
• Perform four-handed dentistry under supervision of a dentist.
• Take and develop dental radiographs and impressions.
• Take patient medical history, blood pressure and pulse; advise on post-operative care.
