Job summary

Ideal Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant to support a growing practice group in Round Rock, Texas. You will assist with procedures, take X-rays, manage patient flow, and uphold infection control standards.

You will educate patients on oral hygiene, perform iTero scans, and help with charting and documentation while collaborating with the team to create exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Active RDA license and CPR certification are required.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of RDA experience in a dental practice.
• Travel may be required for DeNovo offices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring comfort and smooth workflow.
• Take dental X-rays with precision to support diagnoses and planning.
• Prepare and break down operatories after procedures, keeping areas clean and organized.
• Manage patient flow and assist in transitions during visits.
• Ensure infection control by sterilizing instruments and maintaining safety standards.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and long-term care.
• Take accurate impressions and bite registrations for custom appliances.
• Conduct digital iTero scans for diagnostic data.
• Assist with patient charting and documentation for treatment planning.
• Collaborate with the practice team to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
