Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dental team in delivering comprehensive care. You will assist with chair-side procedures, charting, patient education, and coordinating patient flow across the clinic.

Strong infection control and OSHA compliance are essential. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and completion of a dental assisting program, with at least six months of experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Have completed a formal Dental Assistant program at a College, Technical Institute or equivalent.
• A minimum of 6 months of work experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dental providers with chair side assistance using four-handed dentistry.
• Escort patients to/from treatment rooms and maintain professional courtesy.
• Communicate provider delays to front desk and patients.
• Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain Sterilization and OSHA compliance in all clinic areas.
