Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to support dental providers with four-handed chairside care, patient education, and efficient workflow within a comprehensive community health setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of a dental assistant program, WA DOH registration, and allergy to flu vaccine and TB screening policies are outlined in the posting. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Formal Dental Assistant program completion required.
• Registered with WA State Department of Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide four-handed chair side assistance to Dental Providers.
• Escort and comfort patients to/from treatment rooms.
• Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures.
• Communicate delays to provider, front desk, and patients.
• Schedule appointments and register patients in Dentrix and Allscripts PM.
• Complete charting in Dentrix (SOAP/PARTS).
• Take vital signs and maintain sterilization and OSHA standards.
• Assist in inventory and supplies ordering.
• Participate in training, QA activities, and department policies.
