Job summary

Independence Dental Services is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our Utah-based team. You will provide chairside support, maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, assisting during procedures, sterilization, patient communication, and basic administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred.
• X-ray certification (Required / Preferred — depending on state regulations).
• Knowledge of Patient Management Software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Chairside Assistance: prepare treatment rooms and assist the dentist during procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, crowns, root canals).
• Hand instruments to the dentist and anticipate procedural needs.
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment.
