Premier Dentist Partners is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dental team with chairside assistance, patient preparation, and post-appointment care. You will help with X-rays, sterilization, and maintaining patient records in a fast-paced practice.

The role emphasizes infection control, teamwork, and accurate documentation, with opportunities to train new staff and participate in treatment planning coordination.

Qualifications

• Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in chairside assisting and dental procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and materials.
• Certification in dental radiography as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures (restorative work, extractions, root canals).
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials.
• Welcome and prepare patients for treatment, addressing concerns and ensuring comfort.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments according to protocols.
• Take and process dental X-rays and follow radiation safety measures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting of treatment plans.
• Document clinical notes and observations; collaborate on treatment plans.
• Provide patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene.
• Order, organize, and maintain dental supplies; schedule appointments using dental software.
• Adhere to OSHA/CDC infection control guidelines and work with the team.
