Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED; CPR current.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental treatment and arrange instruments per treatment plan.
• Maintain clear oral operating areas using suction, water sprays, and other tools.
• Sterilize instruments and pass them to the dentist; prepare materials.
• Construct models of teeth from impressions; mount and polish models.
• Welcome patients, register them, and manage charts and encounter forms/logs.
• Schedule appointments and reminders; track follow-ups and walk-ins.
• Assist with clinic flow and maintain dental inventory.
• Verify insurance and handle daily cash logs; submit end-of-day reports.
• Participate in Quality Management and Infection Control programs.
• Assist with coverage at Lincoln Heights and Highland Park as needed.
