Responsibilities

Assist dentist during examinations and treatments and support receptionist duties.
Prepare patients for treatment and arrange instruments, materials, and medications.
Maintain clear oral operating areas during procedures with suction, water sprays, and cotton rolls.
Sterilize instruments, prepare materials, and pass instruments to the dentist.
Pours, trims, mounts, and polishes models from impressions.
Welcomes and registers patients, assigns charts, and prepares encounter forms.
Schedule appointments and walk-ins; remind patients of upcoming visits.
Assist with clinic flow and order dental supplies; maintain inventory.
Verify insurance, handle cash flow, and submit end-of-day reports.
Participate in Quality Management, Infection Control, Safety, and Emergency Preparedness programs.
Follow all safety policies and assist with coverage as needed.
