Job summary

Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless (AHCH) is seeking a Part-time/Full-time Dental Assistant Apprentice to join our team in Albuquerque. The ideal candidate will be a team player with clinic experience serving underserved populations and a compassion for the complex issues faced by those experiencing homelessness.

Our DA team rotates between field outreach and clinic settings, operating under a harm-reduction model and focusing on holistic patient care.

Qualifications

• Background in customer service or dental (MA, CNA, DA, etc)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Flexibility to work with multiple providers
• Ability to thrive in a complex healthcare setting

Responsibilities

• Work with Outreach in the field and in Clinic.
• Operate under a harm reduction model and meet patients where they are.
• Help connect patients to resources within and outside the organization.
