Metro Dentalcare in Eagan, MN is seeking a licensed Dental Assistant to join our team and support a high standard of patient care.

The role involves front-line patient interaction, health history review, radiography, four-handed chairside assistance, Dentrix scheduling, and strict adherence to safety protocols. HOJA training and PHI protection are emphasized, with opportunities for growth within Heartland Dental.

Qualifications

• Minnesota dental assisting license required (or in process).
• Dental assisting certification may be required by state rules.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection expected.
• Experience with dental procedures and terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them during treatment.
• Review patient health history to support quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room following safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage supplies and place/expedite orders; support office workflow.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
