Marquette University invites applications for a Dental Assistant – Faculty Practice. You will assist dentists during patient care in the Dental School Clinic and support front desk tasks as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least one year of dental assisting, knowledge of dental terminology, good communication, and CPR; preference for prior academic setting experience. Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of dental assistant experience is required.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical dental assistance to dentists during patient treatment.
• Maintain dental equipment, instruments, and supplies per standards.
• Record keeping and clerical duties for patient files.
• Assist with instrument management and case cart system.
• Attend in-service programs and meetings as required.
