Job summary

Heartland Dental, in Georgia, seeks a Dental Assistant to join a growing practice. The role requires 2–3 years of general dentistry experience, proficiency in 4-handed dentistry, and strong patient care and organizational skills.

Full-time schedule is Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a three-day weekend each week. You will greet patients, review health histories, take X-rays, assist dentists chairside, and ensure exam rooms are prepared per safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of dental assisting in general dentistry

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients at the start of their dental journey
• Conduct a thorough health history review to support quality care
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments
• Provide chairside assistance for a wide range of procedures
• Manage room setup and sterilization following OSHA & CDC guidelines
• Maintain inventory and place orders as needed
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems
