Job summary

The Smilist Dental in Warminster, PA is seeking a reliable Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. We provide high-quality dental care in a warm, welcoming environment, and our team is dedicated to patient comfort and excellent service.

You will support doctors, prepare trays, maintain sterilization, and help patients feel at ease from check-in to treatment, with Monday–Friday schedule and no weekends, salary $23–$25/hour.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Active PA X-ray license required.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures.
• Dentrix experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with ability to multitask.
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during procedures and keep patients focused on treatment.
• Maintain a sterile, welcoming environment and prepare patients for treatment.
• Escort patients to and from the front desk.
• Prepare tray setups and manage supplies in each operatory.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending their individual concerns and promoting the good qualities of their doctor
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patient feels comfortable; prepare patients for treatment, and assist the doctors - thereby enabling them to provide efficient quality dental treatment
• Escort patients to and from the front desk
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
• Must have an active PA x-ray license
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures
• Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude

Position Details:

• Schedule:Full Time - Monday through Friday - no weekends! Must have some evening availability
• Salary Range:$23.00-$25.00/hour
