Job summary

The Smilist in Media, PA is seeking a reliable Dental Assistant to join our friendly practice. You will support doctors during procedures, prepare trays, and help maintain a sterile, welcoming environment.

A PA X-ray license is required, and Dentrix experience is a plus. We offer competitive pay, health/vision/dental insurance, and opportunities for professional growth, with rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Active PA x-ray license required.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment and procedures.
• Prior Dentrix experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment and address concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and assist doctors.
• Escort patients to and from the front desk.
• Prepare tray setups and maintain supply levels in each operatory.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

We are currently seeking a reliable, friendly, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing practice and contribute to our mission of excellent dental care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending their individual concerns and promoting the good qualities of their doctor
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patient feels comfortable; prepare patients for treatment, and assist the doctors - thereby enabling them to provide efficient quality dental treatment
• Escort patients to and from the front desk
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
• Must have an active PA x-ray license
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures
• Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude

Position Details:

• Schedule: Full Time - rotating Saturdays
• Salary Range: $23.00-$25.00/hour
