Job summary

North American Dental Group is seeking a Dental Assistant for our River East Dental Group in Toledo, OH. You will collaborate with our practice team to provide outstanding clinical support, prepare patients for treatment, assist the dentist in restorative procedures, and maintain high standards of care and efficiency.

Requirements include Dental Assisting Certification, 1–5 years experience preferred (new grads welcome), Radiography/X-Ray certification, CPR, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Dental Assisting Certification or equivalent on-the-job training.
• 1–5 years of experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific).
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional service and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists, including charting, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education.
• Record and review patient health histories, make chart entries under the dentist's direction, and ensure all documentation is complete.
• Set up trays and instruments based on the daily schedule and procedure requirements.
• Prepare patients, sterilize/disinfect instruments, and maintain asepsis following OSHA standards.
• Assist with dental procedures, including exposing and developing diagnostic radiographs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and other certifications and safety requirements.

Your Work Schedule

Monday-Thursday7:45am-5:00pm

Friday: 7:45am-1:00pm

Your Role as a Dental AssistantAs a Dental Assistant, you'll collaborate with our practice team to provide outstanding clinical support, ensuring patients receive the care they need.
