Job summary

Corner Dental in Bowling Green, OH, is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. You will provide outstanding clinical support, prepare patients for treatment, assist the dentist in restorative procedures, and maintain high standards of care and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.
• 1-5 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific).
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional service and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists, including charting and patient education.
• Record and review patient histories; make chart entries under the dentist's direction.
• Set up trays and instruments per daily schedule and procedure needs.
• Prepare patients, sterilize/disinfect instruments, and maintain asepsis per OSHA.
• Assist with dental procedures, including exposing and developing radiographs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and certifications and safety requirements.

Your Work Schedule

• Monday: 7:45am-5:00pm
• Tuesday: 7:45am-5:00pm
• Wednesday: 7:45am-5:00pm
• Thursday: 7:45am-7:00pm
• Friday: 7:45am-3:00pm

Your Role as a Dental Assistant

As a Dental Assistant, you'll collaborate with our practice team to provide outstanding clinical support, ensuring patients receive the care they need. You'll prepare patients for treatment, assist the dentist in restorative procedures, and maintain a high standard of care and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists, including charting, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education.
• Record and review patient health histories, make chart entries under the dentist's direction, and ensure all documentation is complete.
• Set up trays and instruments based on the daily schedule and procedure requirements.
• Prepare patients, sterilize/disinfect instruments, and maintain asepsis following OSHA standards.
• Assist with dental procedures, including exposing and developing diagnostic radiographs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and other certifications and safety requirements.

What You'll Need to Succeed
