Job summary

Corner Dental in Bowling Green, OH is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team as a full-time position. You will provide chair-side support, prepare patients for treatment, assist the dentist in procedures, and maintain asepsis according to OSHA standards to ensure a smooth and safe patient experience.

You will chart and document patient information, set up instruments, sterilize equipment, and help with radiographs while upholding HIPAA and CPR certifications.

Qualifications

• Dental Assisting Certification or on-the-job training.
• 1-5 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific).
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists, including charting, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education.
• Record and review patient health histories, make chart entries under the dentist's direction, and ensure all documentation is complete.
• Set up trays and instruments based on the daily schedule and procedure requirements.
• Prepare patients, sterilize/disinfect instruments, and maintain asepsis following OSHA standards.
• Assist with dental procedures, including exposing and developing diagnostic radiographs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and other certifications and safety requirements.

• Monday: 7:45am-5:00pm
• Tuesday: 7:45am-5:00pm
• Wednesday: 7:45am-5:00pm
• Thursday: 7:45am-7:00pm
• Friday: 7:45am-3:00pm

Your Role as a Dental Assistant

As a Dental Assistant, you'll collaborate with our practice team to provide outstanding clinical support, ensuring patients receive the care they need. You'll prepare patients for treatment, assist the dentist in restorative procedures, and maintain a high standard of care and efficiency.
