Job summary

North American Dental Group is seeking a Dental Assistant for a Full-time position at Corner Dental in Bowling Green, OH. You will provide essential chair-side support, prep patients for procedures, and assist the dentist during restorative work in a fast-paced practice.

The role emphasizes patient education, asepsis, and adherence to OSHA/HIPAA standards while supporting a collaborative team environment. Monday through Friday schedules with occasional longer days are included.

Qualifications

• Dental Assisting Certification or equivalent on-the-job training.
• 1–5 years of experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
• State-specific Radiography/X-Ray certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional service and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists, including charting, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education.
• Record and review patient health histories, make chart entries under the dentist's direction, and ensure all documentation is complete.
• Set up trays and instruments based on the daily schedule and procedure requirements.
• Prepare patients, sterilize/disinfect instruments, and maintain asepsis following OSHA standards.
• Assist with dental procedures, including exposing and developing diagnostic radiographs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and other certifications and safety requirements.

Tuesday: 7:45am-5:00pm

Wednesday: 7:45am-5:00pm

Thursday: 7:45am-7:00pm

Friday: 7:45am-3:00pm

Your Role as a Dental Assistant

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll collaborate with our practice team to provide outstanding clinical support, ensuring patients receive the care they need. You’ll prepare patients for treatment, assist the dentist in restorative procedures, and maintain a high standard of care and efficiency.
