Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a dental assistant who will be a key member of the clinical team, greeting patients, preparing rooms, and supporting GPs and specialists.

The role offers hourly compensation of $35.00-$40.00, a part-time schedule (Twice a month on Tuesdays), and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, health/dental/vision, HSA, telemedicine, FSA, life and disability insurance, 401k, and more.

Qualifications

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards
• Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care

Job description

Overview

In this role, you’ll be an important member of the clinical team, working alongside GPs and other Specialty Clinicians dedicated to serving patients. You’ll be supporting many sides of the practice, greeting and guiding patients, and helping out across the office as needed.

Schedule (days/hours)

Tuesday- Twice a month

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
• Helping to educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
• Improving oral health, solving dental challenges, and bettering smiles every day

Qualifications

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment (e.g. RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards
• Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care

Compensation

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
