Job summary

Choice Healthcare Services is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant in California. You will support dentists, prepare rooms, take x‑rays, and assist with patient care in a modern, friendly office environment.

Requirements include dental certification or 3–6 months of experience, plus X-ray and BLS certifications. Spanish language skills are a plus, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college or 3–6 months related experience or training, or equivalent combination.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Summary: The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range: $18.00 to - $23.00 /hr (Based on experience)

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assists the doctor in procedures
• Takes x-rays
• Takes IO's
• Assist in Prophylaxis cleaning of teeth
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene

• Charts cavities and teeth with doctor
• Sterilizes instruments
• Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene
• Charting of patient's treatment and treatment plan with doctor

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish, a plus

Required Certificates or Licences:

• X-Ray certification
• BLS certification

• 8-hour Infection Control certification
• 2-hour Dental Practice Act certification
