Job summary

Capozzi Dental Group in Prospect, CT is seeking a motivated Full-time Dental Assistant to join a family-oriented team. You will greet patients, liaise with doctors, set up trays, assist chairside, and manage patient treatment documentation in a fast-paced dental office.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service, are team players, and eager to learn. Office hours are weekdays, with a focus on delivering the best patient experience in a relaxed environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn & grow.

• Ability to reliably commute to the Prospect, CT office.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients.
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor.
• Set up trays as indicated by the days’ charts.
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs.
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry.
• Enter treatment plans.
• Take x-rays as needed.
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient.
• Take alginates/pour and trim models.
• Package and sterilize instruments.
• Keep operatory fully stocked.

Currently, we're in search of a highly motivated Full-time Dental Assistant. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask

Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greet and seat patients

• Monday - 7:30AM - 6PM
• Tuesday - 7:30AM - 6PM
• Wednesday - 7:30AM - 5PM
• Thursday - 7:30AM - 5PM
• Friday - 7:30AM - 12:30PM

Preferred Qualities:

• Dental Office Experience
• Dentrix Ascend software experience
• X-Ray and ICE Certification
