Job summary

Capozzi Dental Group, located in Prospect, CT, is hiring a Full-time Dental Assistant. You will greet patients, assist the doctor, set up trays, and manage sterilization while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, excellent customer service, and a willingness to learn. Preference for Dentrix Ascend experience and X-ray/ICE certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients.
• Act as liaison between patient and dentist.
• Set up trays as per daily charts.
• Review schedules and anticipate needs.
• Assist chairside using four‑handed dentistry.
• Enter treatment plans and take x‑rays as needed.
• Clean, disinfect operatory and sterilize instruments.
• Maintain stocked operatory and equipment.

Currently, we're in search of a highly motivated Full-time Dental Assistant. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask

Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greet and seat patients
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
• Set up trays as indicated by the days’ charts
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs in advance
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
• Enter treatment plans
• Take x-rays as needed
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient
• Take alginates/pour and trim models
• Package and sterilize instruments
• Keep operatory fully stocked
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor

Available to work during current office hours:

• Monday - Tuesday 7:30AM - 6PM
• Wednesday -Thursday 7:30AM - 5PM
• Friday - 7:30AM - 12:30PM
