Job summary

Dental Arts of Cromwell is seeking a highly motivated Part-time Dental Assistant to join our team. Our mission is to provide quality dental and personal care in a relaxed environment where patients feel welcomed, accepted, secure, and confident in the care they are receiving.

Candidates should have a strong work ethic, be a team player and able to multitask. Availability Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 7:30am to 5pm, with commuting to Cromwell, CT required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
• Ability to commute to Cromwell, CT reliably.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients.
• Liaise between patient and doctor.
• Set up trays per charts.
• Review schedules and anticipate doctor needs.
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry.
• Enter treatment plans.
• Take x-rays as needed.
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient.
• Take alginates, pour and trim models.
• Package and sterilize instruments.
• Keep operatory fully stocked.

Currently, we're in search of a highly motivated Part-time Dental Assistant. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask

Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greet and seat patients
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
• Set up trays as indicated by the days’ charts
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs in advance
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
• Enter treatment plans
• Take x-rays as needed
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient
• Take alginates/pour and trim models
• Package and sterilize instruments
• Keep operatory fully stocked
