Job summary

Dental Arts of Cromwell, part of Dental Associates of Connecticut, seeks a motivated Part-time Dental Assistant. Responsibilities include patient greetings, chairside assistance, and radiographs.

The role requires a strong work ethic, teamwork, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental office. Eligible candidates should have a GED or high school diploma, excellent customer service, and a desire to join a family-oriented team focused on delivering the best patient experience possible.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients.
• Act as liaison between patient and doctor.
• Set up trays as per daily charts.
• Review schedules and anticipate doctor’s needs.
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry.
• Enter treatment plans.
• Take x-rays as needed.
• Disinfect operatory after each patient.
• Maintain stocked operatory and equipment.

Currently, we're in search of a highly motivated Part-time Dental Assistant. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask

Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greet and seat patients
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
• Set up trays as indicated by the days’ charts
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs in advance
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
• Enter treatment plans
• Take x-rays as needed
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient
• Take alginates/pour and trim models
• Package and sterilize instrumentsKeep operatory fully stocked
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor

Available to work during current office hours:

• Monday - 7:30am - 5pm
• Tuesday - 7:30am - 5pm
• Friday - 7:30am - 5pm
