Job summary

Capozzi Dental Group in Prospect, CT is seeking a motivated Full-time Dental Assistant to join a family-oriented team. You will greet patients, assist chairside with four-handed dentistry, and help ensure a smooth daily schedule in a welcoming environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, excellent customer service, a willingness to learn, and reliable commuting to Prospect. Dentrix Ascend experience and X-ray/Ice certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat patients.
Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor.
Set up trays as indicated by the day's charts.
Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry.

Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient.
Keep operatory fully stocked.

Specific Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

Greet and seat patients
Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
Set up trays as indicated by the days’ charts
Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs in advance
Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
Enter treatment plans
Take x-rays as needed
Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient
Take alginates/pour and trim models
Package and sterilize instruments
Keep operatory fully stocked
Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
