Job summary

Ascension's St Elizabeth Ann Seton Dental Clinic in Milwaukee, WI seeks a part-time Dental Assistant to support the Smart Smiles department. You’ll assist with patient assessments, take diagnostic radiographs, obtain dental impressions, and help maintain a clean, organized clinical area.

You’ll also handle reception, scheduling, data entry, and clerical tasks as part of a busy health facility. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (or 1 year of related experience); Wisconsin

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of related experience.
• Wisconsin driver’s license required.
• BLS preferred (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Dental Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments, treatments, radiographs, and impressions.
• Decontaminate, process, and maintain dental instruments for sterilization.
• Manage clerical tasks including reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
• Keep equipment and supplies stocked and examination areas clean.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Assist with patient assessments, treatments, diagnostic radiographs, and obtaining dental impressions.
• Decontaminate, process, and maintain dental instruments to ensure facility-wide sterilization.
• Manage clerical tasks including reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
• Keep equipment, medical supplies, and examination areas clean, organized, and adequately stocked.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Drivers License credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Dental Assistant preferred.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

• Dental Assistant experience preferred.
