A leading community health center in Lubbock, TX, is seeking a Dental Assistant to enhance dental care services. The role involves providing chairside assistance, conducting x-rays, and educating patients. The Dental Assistant works energetically to improve and secure CHCL as the medical and dental home for our clients. Under the general supervision of a Dental Director and the Site Manager, the Dental Assistant provides chair side assistance and support for the Dentist; performs such procedures as x-rays and sterilization of dental instruments; and provides dental education, especially to children and their parents or caregivers.
Education: High School graduation or GED equivalent.
Licensure: Texas RDA Certificate.

Language:English; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Travel: Employees may be required to travel for continuing education or testing purposes, health fairs, and off-site clinics.
Hours of Work:8am-5pm with some weekend/evening work.
