Job summary

A Lifetime of Smiles is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our Illinois Valley practice. You will work with four experienced doctors, gain exposure to comprehensive dentistry, advanced technology, and a wide variety of procedures in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient-focused Dental Assistant with a collaborative mindset.
• Certifications in dental assisting are a plus but not required.
• Ability to learn and grow under supervision of experienced doctors.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for a busy clinic.

Responsibilities

• Assist our doctors during a variety of dental procedures.
• Help create an exceptional and comfortable patient experience.
• Take digital radiographs.
• Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms.
• Follow sterilization and infection-control protocols.
• Review and record medical histories and clinical notes.
• Fabricate temporary restorations and take impressions.
• Provide post-operative instructions and patient education.
• Support the clinical team to keep the day running smoothly.
