Job summary

A Lifetime of Smiles in Illinois is seeking an Experienced Dental Administrative Assistant to join our fast-paced, patient-centered practice. You will manage patient communications, scheduling, and financial discussions, ensuring a smooth visit from the first call through treatment and follow-up.

Ideal candidates have prior dental administrative experience, are comfortable with dental software, and excel at organized, professional interactions with patients and team members.

Qualifications

  • Previous dental administrative experience is required.
  • Experience with dental scheduling, patient accounts, insurance benefits and treatment coordination.
  • Experience communicating with patients about treatment, scheduling, financial arrangements and payments.
  • Strong professional phone etiquette and interpersonal communication.
  • Confident handling of financial conversations with patients.
  • Ability to manage multiple provider schedules in a busy practice.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-through.
  • Comfort with dental practice management software and digital systems.
  • Professional, dependable and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

  • Professionally answer and manage incoming patient phone calls.
  • Welcome patients and provide a polished, positive experience.
  • Coordinate appointments and manage busy provider schedules.
  • Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment and next steps.
  • Assist with treatment coordination and scheduling.
  • Collect payments and review financial arrangements with patients.
  • Assist patients with dental insurance questions and benefit coordination.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Coordinate with doctors and team members to support daily operations.
  • Manage multiple priorities with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Uphold HIPAA standards and patient confidentiality.

A Lifetime of Smiles is seeking an experienced Dental Administrative Assistant to join our team. Candidates must have previous dental administrative experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-focused dental practice.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident communicating with patients, managing schedules, discussing treatment and financial arrangements, and handling the day-to-day responsibilities of a busy dental office. We are looking for someone who understands the administrative side of dentistry and can provide a professional, welcoming experience from the first phone call through treatment and follow-up.

Our full-service practice offers preventative, cosmetic, restorative, and surgical dentistry in a modern, patient-focused environment. We take pride in delivering exceptional care and creating a welcoming experience for every patient who walks through our doors. Our administrative team plays a critical role in supporting patient care, coordinating schedules, communicating treatment needs, and ensuring every patient interaction reflects the high standards of our practice.
