Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a civilian Dental Assistant at Whiteman AFB, MO. The role includes clinical duties in a military family healthcare setting with Monday–Friday hours, competitive salary, health and dental coverage, and retirement benefits.

The successful candidate will hold CODA accreditation or equivalent and have relevant radiography training. Candidates must meet the listed certification/education requirements and have up to 36 months of relevant experience.

Competenze

• Certification or CODA-accredited program with 12 months experience within 36 months or equivalent.
• Military or Red Cross certification with 12 months experience within 36 months.
• 36 months experience as a dental assistant in private practice or military clinic.
• Membership in good standing with the American Association of Dental Assistants with 12 months experience.
• Graduation from a state-accredited dental assisting program within the last 12 months.
• All training must include dental X-ray training and related safety/radiation coursework.

Job Requirements:

• Certificate or Associate Degree as a dental assistant/technician from a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA) and 12 months experience within the preceding 36 months OR
• Certification from a military dental technician or dental assistant school and 12 months experience within the preceding 36 months OR
• Certification from a Red Cross Dental Assistant course and 12 months experience within the preceding 36 months OR
• 36 months experience within the preceding 60 months as a dental assistant in a private practice or a military clinic OR
• Membership in good standing with the American Association of Dental Assistant with required continuing education and 12 months experience within the preceding 36 months OR
• Graduation from a state accredited program for dental assistants or dental technology within the preceding 12 months
• All training must have included a course in radiation physics; radiation biology; radiation health, safety and protection; X-ray films and radiographic film qualify; radiographic techniques; darkroom and processing techniques; film mounting and digital radiographic processing techniques (Completion of a military dental technician or dental assistant "A" school will fulfill this requirement. Similarly, Dental Assistant program transcripts documenting dental X-ray training will also suffice)
• In addition to one of the above requirements:
  • Must be certified as a Dental Radiographer(Completion of a military dental technician or dental assistant "A" school will fulfill this requirement. Similarly, Dental Assistant program transcripts documenting dental X-ray training will also suffice)
  • Must have 6 months expereince as a Dental Assistant after graduation
