Qualified applicants hold CODA-accredited education with radiography certification, BLS, and 1 year post-graduate experience (3 years if trained in a dental office), plus readiness for the military environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Associate Degree in dental assisting from a CODA-accredited program, with at least 12 months of experience in the last 36 months.
• Military dental technician or dental assistant certification with 12 months of experience in a military setting.
• 3 years of experience if trained in a dental office; HR letter listing duties including Dental Radiography.
• Radiography certification with training in radiation safety, biology, health, safety, and digital processing.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists in dental procedures in a military setting.
• Maintain radiographic records and perform digital radiography.

This Contract Position Offers

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Competitive pay |$27.96 per hour
• $500 Sign on Bonus after 30 days employment
• $300 Referral Bonus
• 11 Paid Federal Holidays

Position Requirements

• Education: Hold a Certificate or Associate Degree in dental assisting, obtained from a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA), with at least 12 months of experience within the last 36 months.
• Military expertise: Or Possess certification from a military dental technician or dental assistant school, coupled with 12 months of experience within the preceding 36 months, showcasing your specialized skills in a military setting.
• Dental Office Training: Must have 3 years experience and provide Letter from Current Employer's HR with list of job duties to include Dental Radiography.
• Radiographic proficiency: Be certified in radiography, with comprehensive training covering radiation physics, biology, health, safety, and protection, as well as digital radiographic processing techniques.
• Experience: Demonstrate your prowess with 1 year of Full-Time experience as a Dental Assistant post-graduation. 3 years of Full-Time experience if trained in dental office.
• Certification: Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, ensuring you're equipped to handle any situation that may arise.
