Preferred Family Health Care is seeking a Dental Assistant in Hannibal, MO to support dentists and hygienists in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting.

You will handle chairside support, room preparation, sterilization, and patient education while helping maintain accurate records and inventory. This role emphasizes compassionate care and teamwork across the dental team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred (not required).
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience in dental assisting preferred, but training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Chairside Support: Assist dentists and hygienists during procedures and ensure smooth patient flow.
• Clinical Preparation & Sterilization: Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials; maintain infection control standards.
• Patient Care & Experience: Provide compassionate, patient-focused support; educate and motivate patients.
• Documentation & Records: Maintain patient charts, records, and treatment notes; ensure compliance.
• Inventory & Supplies: Monitor, order, and maintain supplies and equipment; track availability.
• Compliance & Team Support: Follow ADA and Missouri Dental Board guidelines; support team with duties.
