Job summary

Specialty1 Partners in Durham is looking for a skilled Dental Assistant to enhance patient experience and support dental procedures. Key duties include welcoming patients, sterilizing instruments, and assisting dentists. Qualifications

About the Role

Triangle Implant Center – Durham is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to support our specialty practice and deliver a world‑class patient experience.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients and prepare them for treatment.
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies.
  • Sterilize instruments in accordance with regulations.
  • Assist the dentist with 4‑handed dentistry.
  • Provide oral hygiene and post‑operative care instructions.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dental room.
  • Schedule appointments and follow‑up visits.
  • Keep accurate patient records.
  • Assist with payment procedures.
  • Coordinate additional office responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of proven experience as a dental assistant.
  • Fast‑paced oral surgery experience required.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization methods, and health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to perform regulated non‑surgical tasks.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and well‑organized.
  • High school diploma.
  • Certificate from an accredited dental assistant program (if required by law).
  • Active state radiology license (if required by law).

Position Base Pay Range: $19 USD – $22.50 USD
