Triangle Dentistry: Smith, Tart & Associates is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant II to join our team. You will support the dentist in clinical and administrative tasks, helping create a smooth, patient-friendly environment and delivering high-quality care.

This position offers a 4-day workweek from 7:15 am to 5:00 pm, pay in the $24–$29/hour range, and a $2,000 retention bonus. Experience required includes 5+ years, CDA or RDA certification, and proficiency with Dentrix or Eaglesoft.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of dental assisting experience in a clinical setting.
• Dental Assistant Certification (CDA or RDA) required; EFDA or Radiology certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, infection control, and safety regulations.
• Experience with practice management software (Dentrix or Eaglesoft) is highly preferred.
• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks (e.g., coronal polishing) and assist with procedures.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills; strong attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Dental Assistant II | $2,000 Retention Bonus

Location: Triangle Dentistry: Smith, Tart & Associates

Schedule: 4 days/week from 7:15am to 5:00pm

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of dental assisting experience in a clinical setting.
• Certification: Dental Assistant Certification (CDA or RDA) is required. Additional certifications such as EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) or Radiology Certifications are a plus.
• Skills & Knowledge:
  • In-depth knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization methods, and infection control protocols.
  • Familiarity with dental procedures and treatments.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in a dental office.
  • Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is highly preferred.
• Clinical Competence: Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks, such as coronal polishing, and assist with other dental procedures.
• Communication & Patient Care: Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with patients, providing clear instructions and ensuring their comfort.
• Organization & Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Team-Oriented: Ability to work effectively in a team environment while providing high-quality patient care.
