Job summary

Drs. Grant & Conger in Dalton, GA seeks a Dental Assistant to support the clinical team and provide high-quality patient care in a team-based setting.

Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience, with Registered Dental Assistant certification and X-ray credentials. The role offers a Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule, with health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, plus a 401(k).

Qualifications

• One or more years on-the-job experience
• Registered Dental Assistant is required
• X-Ray certification is required
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake.
• Assist dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by helping with CPR and emergency supplies.

Drs. Grant & Conger is looking for a Dental Assistant in Dalton, GA to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
