Job summary

Christiansen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our friendly team in Centennial, CO. The role requires assisting dentists with four-handed dentistry, taking X-rays, and maintaining patient records while ensuring a comfortable patient experience.

The ideal candidate has CPR/BLS certification and completion of an accredited dental assisting program, with knowledge of dental terminology and software such as Open Dental or Dentrix. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
• Proficiency in dental patient management software such as Open Dental or Dentrix.

Responsibilities

• Preparing operatories for treatment.
• Sterilizing instruments.
• Directly assist dentist during procedures using four handed dentistry technique.
• Take x-rays and intraoral photos.
• Accurately and efficiently treatment plan based on doctor’s diagnosis.
• Providing patient education and post-operative instruction.
• Dental charting and coding.
• Perform lab duties such as pouring models, taking impressions, and fabricating temporary crowns.
• Administrative tasks such as answering phones, calling labs, and patient follow-up calls.
• Stock supplies and maintain equipment.
• Accurately document and maintain Patient Health Information.

We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team at Christiansen Dental! Schedule

Monday-Tuesday 6:30-5, Wednesday-Thursday 6:30-4, Friday 6:30-1

Compensation

$20-$25/hour

Job responsibilities/duties
