Elevate Dental Partners seeks a Dental Assistant to join Covington Family Dentistry. The ideal candidate will ensure patient comfort and assist dentists during procedures, all while fostering a welcoming environment.

This role offers competitive pay of $21-$33 per hour depending on experience and includes Full-Time benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and a 401K match, as well as Part-Time benefits.

Qualifications

• Certification in CPR/BLS is required.
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program is preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operatories for treatment.
• Assist dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry technique.
• Take x-rays and intraoral photos.
• Provide patient education and post-operative instruction.

Full‑Time and Part‑Time Openings Available

Compensation: $21-$33/hour depending on experience

Job responsibilities & duties

• Preparing operatories for treatment
• Sterilizing instruments
• Directly assist dentist during procedures using four‑handed dentistry technique
• Take x‑rays and intraoral photos
• Accurately and efficiently treatment plan based on doctor’s diagnosis
• Providing patient education and post‑operative instruction
• Dental charting and coding
• Perform lab duties such as pouring models, taking impressions, and fabricating temporary crowns
• Administrative tasks such as answering phones, calling labs, and patient follow‑up calls
• Stock supplies and maintain equipment
• Accurately document and maintain Patient Health Information

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification required
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
• DANB (Dental Assisting National Board) Certification required for Washington State
• Radiology Certification required
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
• Proficiency in dental patient management software such as Open Dental or Dentrix
