The Center for Dental Wellness at Camarillo is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our fast-growing private practice. You will assist dentists using four-handed dentistry, maintain sterile treatment rooms, and support a high standard of patient care.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of chairside experience, Dentrix proficiency, and certifications in Coronal Polishing and Radiology. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential in our collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on dental assisting experience.
• Ideal certifications: Coronal Polishing and Radiology.
• Proficiency with Dentrix software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments using four-handed dentistry.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms per infection control standards.
• Take digital dental X-rays and assist with advanced imaging as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the practice management system.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care instructions.
• Collaborate effectively with the clinical team to ensure a positive patient experience.
