Gentle Dental in Thorndale, PA is seeking a Dental Assistant to support our clinical team with patient care and satisfaction in a collaborative, team-based setting.

The role includes room preparation, instrument sterilization, radiography, patient education, and maintaining records, while staying compliant with OSHA, HIPAA, CPR and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• Accepting new graduates with Xray cerifications
• X-Ray certification - required
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
• Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
