Job summary

Dental Solutions in Wyncote, PA seeks a Dental Assistant to join a patient-focused team. You will support the office and assist dentists during procedures, while helping educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.

The role requires at least 1 year of DA experience, X-Ray certification, and a commitment to ongoing OSHA/HIPAA/CPR training. Join a modern practice with advanced dental technology and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of hands on experience as a DA.
• X-Ray certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintenance of OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
• Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
