Burlington Family Dentistry is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team in Burlington, WA. We offer a full-time position with Monday–Friday hours and occasional Saturday shifts. Join a family-focused practice that values compassionate patient care and teamwork.

You will assist clinicians, take x-rays, maintain sterile environments, and help manage patient flow to ensure a smooth day for both patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Washington Dental Assistant Registration required.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Dental assisting experience preferred.
• Comfortable taking dental x-rays.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures.
• Strong chairside assisting skills.
• Friendly and professional with patients.
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a busy dental practice.
• Willing to jump in and help the team when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
• Prepare and break down treatment rooms.
• Take dental x-rays and intraoral photos.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection‑control standards.
• Keep operatories stocked, clean, and organized.
• Support patients before, during, and after treatment.

We are an established family practice with a modern office, a broad mix of dentistry, and a team that believes patients should feel known and cared for—not rushed through an appointment.

Pay and Schedule

• $19–$24 per hour, based on experience


• Full-time opportunity


• Monday–Friday


• Every other Saturday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM


• Flexible weekday hours available


• Friday hours: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM

We know schedule matters. Our extended weekday office hours give us some flexibility to build a schedule that works for both the practice and the right candidate.
