Downtown Tinley Dental in Tinley Park, IL is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to join our busy, patient-focused practice. You will seat patients, prepare rooms, assist chairside, and take X-rays while maintaining a clean, supportive environment for patients and staff.

Entry-level candidates are welcome with willingness to train; CPR/BLS is required. Knowledge of dental software and HIPAA, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a competitive hourly pay with health insurance, PTO,

• Dental assistant certification or diploma preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• 1+ years chairside experience preferred, willing to train entry-level candidate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and relaxed.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms.
• Assist the dentist chairside during various clinical procedures.
• Take diagnostic dental X-rays.
• Record patient medical history and update electronic charts.
• Provide post-treatment care instructions and oral hygiene education to patients.

Qualifications & Skills

• Dental assistant certification or diploma from an accredited program (preferred).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• 1+ years of chairside assisting experience (willing to train the right entry-level candidate).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of dental software and safety/HIPAA regulations.
