Job summary

Burlington Family Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in Burlington, WA. We offer $19–$24 per hour for a full-time role with a Monday–Friday schedule and every other Saturday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM, with flexible weekday hours based on practice needs.

Join a family-focused practice delivering comprehensive dentistry in a modern, relaxed setting. You will support doctors, hygienists, and front-office staff, develop clinical skills, and help ensure a smooth, patient-centered day.

Qualifications

• Dental assisting experience preferred.
• Washington Dental Assistant Registration required.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Comfortable taking dental x-rays.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures.
• Strong chairside assisting skills.
• Friendly and professional with patients.
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a busy dental practice.
• Willing to jump in and help the team when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
• Prepare and break down treatment rooms.
• Take dental x-rays and intraoral photos.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards.
• Keep operatories stocked, clean, and organized.
• Support patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Provide post-operative instructions and patient education.
• Complete dental charting and clinical documentation.
• Perform basic lab duties as needed.
• Work closely with doctors, hygienists, assistants, and front office team members.
• Help keep the clinical day running smoothly and on schedule.

Burlington Family Dentistry is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team.

We are an established family practice with a modern office, a broad mix of dentistry, and a team that believes patients should feel known and cared for—not rushed through an appointment.

Pay and Schedule

• $19–$24 per hour, based on experience

• Full-time opportunity

• Monday–Friday

• Every other Saturday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM

• Flexible weekday hours available

• Friday hours: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM

We know schedule matters. Our extended weekday office hours give us some flexibility to build a schedule that works for both the practice and the right candidate.
