Qualifications

• At least one year of dental assisting experience.
• X-ray certification or ability to obtain it as per state requirements.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Registration with the state of Washington as a Dental Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments adhering to infection control protocols.
• Take digital radiographs and intraoral images.
• Record and update patient medical histories and clinical notes.
• Ensure patient comfort during procedures.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans.
• Assist with hygiene patients including polishing and flossing.
• Maintain operatory cleanliness and organization.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies.

Skills

Schedule

• Full-time
• Tuesday: 6:30am - 3:30pm
• Wednesday: 6:30am - 5:30pm
• Thursday: 8:30am - 5pm
• Friday: 6:30am - 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols
• Take digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral images
• Record and update patient medical histories and clinical notes accurately
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care
• Assist with hygiene patients including polishing and flossing
• Maintain operatory cleanliness and organization
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed
