The Smilist in Boston, MA is seeking a reliable Dental Assistant to join our busy practice. You will assist dentists, prepare treatment rooms, manage trays, and help ensure a smooth patient experience.

We value attention to detail, teamwork, and strong communication. Eligible candidates hold an active MA x-ray license, have experience as a Dental Assistant, and are committed to high-quality care with a friendly, professional approach.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Active MA x-ray license is required.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending their individual concerns and promoting the good qualities of their doctor.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patient feels comfortable; prepare patients for treatment, and assist the doctors - thereby enabling them to provide efficient quality dental treatment.
• Escort patients to and from the front desk
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending their individual concerns and promoting the good qualities of their doctor
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patient feels comfortable; prepare patients for treatment, and assist the doctors - thereby enabling them to provide efficient quality dental treatment

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant

• Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude

Position Details:

• Schedule:Full Time - Monday through Friday - no weekends!
• Salary Range:$30.00-$35.00/hour (based on experience)
• Location:Boston, MA
