Dental One Associates in Baltimore, Maryland seeks a Dental Assistant to support our clinical team with high-quality patient care in a team-based, patient-centered setting. This role requires completion of a one-year program, at least one year of on-the-job experience, and X-ray certification.

It is a part-time position with Wednesday and Thursday shifts, offering competitive hourly pay ($23–$28), and benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, a 401(k),

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program.
• 1 year on-the-job-experience
• X-Ray certification - Required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dental Assistants are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X‑rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
• Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

Education
