CHOICE Healthcare Services in Colorado is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to support dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments and materials, passing instruments, and assisting under the dentist while complying with state standards. This position runs Fridays and Saturdays with a potential sign-on bonus up to $2,500.

Formación

• Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish, preferred

Summary

The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Colorado dental standards. This is a part time position to work Fridays and Saturdays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures
• Takes x-rays
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene
• Sterilizes instruments
• Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene

Education and/or Experience

• Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish, preferred

Required Certificates or Licenses

• Colorado X-Ray certification
• Current BLS certification
